Bioterrorism Disaster Plan
Preparation and Planning for Bioterrorism Emergencies
After September 11 and the anthrax attacks that followed, Public Health in the United States committed to being prepared for potential bioterrorism emergencies. Community Health Partners has a bio-emergency plan that includes monitoring suspicious and contagious illnesses, tracking the illnesses, and preventing their spread. Annual drills to practice and improve the response to suspicious illnesses are part of Community Health Partners’ commitment to preparation.
